Oil in Uganda is a web based platform developed on top of WordPress, its implemented by ActionAid with support from Ford Foundation, Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) and Australian Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT).
ActionAid required website that could be used to publish reports, resource and news about oil extraction and production within the country. The website and android mobile application were created for this purpose. This website integrates with MailChimp and an android application. A REST API is used to push content posted on the website automatically to a native android application.
A mailing list for subscribers for this website is managed on MailChimp and registration to this list is done via the website. This website was developed in 2012 and is still being managed by us to date
